Ramsey Post Office hosted a 'Pink Cake Day' on Friday
29th October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise some funds
for the Group. Our Chairman, Sharon Maddrell is the Manager at Ramsey PO
and cakes were baked by members of staff, including one of the men, as
well as members of the Group. Sharon said, "We had so many cakes to sell
and I thought we'd have a lot left over, but we only had 6 rice crispie
cakes left, sadly, they were
the ones I made!! We raised a whopping £300 and considering they were
only 30p and 50p it was quite amazing. I like to thank the Post Office
for letting us hold the event and to the generous people of Ramsey who
supported us"
