Staff from the
Payments dept. at Barclays Wealth in Douglas chose Isle of Man Breast Care as
their ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2011 and have raised a massive £4172 for us.

Events including a sponsored body wax and head shave, Race Night, Christmas wrapping service, Halloween Raffle, Valentine and Easter Hampers and Team Challenges were held throughout the year to raise the bumper amount.
The staff council who organised the events were: Chris Bowers, Richard Brant, Gill Cardy, Kerry Cowin, Helen Doolan, Julieanne Collister, Kirstie Powell and Rowita Taisia.
We were really pleased to have been chosen as their Charity of the Year but we are over the moon at receiving such a fabulous amount. I’ve seen some photos from the sponsored body wax and those people went through a lot of pain for us! This money, as always, will go directly towards helping breast cancer patients and their families on the Island.
